THE US version of The Challenge has signed up a series of British reality stars from some of our biggest shows.
Favourite personalities from familiar programmes are set to compete in gruelling mental and physical competitions.

Previous stars to compete have come from shows such as Big Brother, Love Island, Survivor, and The Amazing Race.
Now, we can reveal that Melissa Reeves (Ex On The Beach), Zara Zoffany (MTV’s The Royal World), Hughie Maughan (Big Brother) and Callum Alexandre Izzard (Ibiza Weekender) have joined the cast of endurance series.
A source close to Callum told us: “Callum is currently filming the Challenge US in Croatia. He’s going to be away for almost two months filming.
“He was so successful previously on the UK version, so he is really hoping to pull out a big win this time.
“He has done it once before so he is mentally prepared for it this time round. The challenge is a huge show globally so Callum is really grateful for the opportunity to take part.
“Callum prepared for months in advance with extensive training and dieting to ensure he was prepared.”
This comes after The Sun revealed that James Lock pulled out of filming for a key part of the new series of Towie after signing up for the US reality show.
He will be taking part in MTV series The Challenge USA after proving a hit with bosses on the UK version earlier this year.
This he won’t be taking part in the cast trip to Cyprus, which is currently filming, but he will join the series back in Essex later in the run.
A source said: “Bosses were really gutted James wouldn’t be joining the trip as he is such an integral part of the cast but James didn’t feel he could turn this opportunity down.
“The Challenge is a huge show globally, and the American version of the franchise is the biggest one.
“He is really excited to be asked to do it, but would never turn his back on Towie entirely as that’s the show that made him and he doesn’t forget where he has come from.”
